HYPERCATALECTA

I'm a UX Architect based in Berlin, Germany. I take pictures of misplaced chairs. I love a good book. I like to bake cakes. That's all.

Greasy-finger enabled heatmaps for iPad

thanks @supersoon

Taking all these greasy little fingerprints as a source of information is a great idea, and the photos George Kokkindis took have their own beauty (I wonder is the iDraft image a self-portrait ;-)?).

Interestingly, the results mirror heatmaps that are often generated to analyise websites with expensive eyetracking tools. You can even sense how much pressure is applied to individual areas on the screen.

Sweet nothings - sent by you to the Tate.

David Horvitz’ Tumblog is one of my favourites. Even if my participation is limited to the occasional “this time, I’m really going to participate”, I enjoy reading his posts and project inspirations.

One of his latest projects, “No Soul for Sale”, asks you to send an emoty envelope to the Tate Modern in London, where it will be exhibited in mid-May. If you provide a tracking number, it will be used on their website to track the flow of packages and envelopes from anywhere in the world to London.

So: if you’ve always wanted to see your artwork at the Tate, here’s your chance - www.mailnothing.info.
